History In The Making
Breaking New Ground:
The NY Transgender Bodybuilding Federation’s Historic Sabastian Pro Classic
In an era where inclusion and representation are more than just buzzwords but essential components of societal progress, the New York Transgender Bodybuilding Federation LLC (NYTBF) is making history. They are pioneering a transformative moment in sports by establishing the first transgender-specific professional sport. This groundbreaking endeavor will come to life in the form of the Sabastian Pro Classic Competition, set to take place in New York City on August 8, 2026. This event is not only a competition but a celebration of diversity, tenacity, and the human spirit.
The Genesis of Change
The NYTBF was born out of a need to create a supportive and empowering space for transgender athletes who have long faced barriers and discrimination in traditional sporting arenas. For years, the binary nature of competitive sports has marginalized transgender individuals, who often find themselves caught between worlds, facing regulatory challenges and societal prejudice.
Recognizing these obstacles, the NYTBF was established to harness the power of sports as a vehicle for change and acceptance. The Sabastian Pro Classic is the first-of-its-kind event, focusing solely on transgender athletes and offering specific male and female physique lanes. Named in honor of a trailblazing individual who symbolizes strength and resilience, the competition invites transgender athletes from around the world to showcase their dedication, discipline, and passion.
What the Sabastian Pro Classic Represents
★ Promote Diversity and Inclusion — By providing a dedicated platform for transgender athletes, the competition seeks to foster an environment where diversity is celebrated and inclusivity is prioritized.
★ Inspire Future Generations — The athletes competing will undoubtedly inspire countless transgender and non-binary individuals worldwide, proving that excellence knows no gender.
★ Create Awareness and Education — Along with the competition, there will be workshops and discussions addressing transgender issues, rights, and health, empowering participants and attendees with knowledge and understanding.
